Blue Slate Design - Store Policies

Blue Slate Design is focused on providing excellent customer service.  Please review our
store policies:

Ordering - We process all orders through Google Checkout, a safe and secure service provided by Google that accepts all major credit cards.

Custom Order - We are more than happy to accept custom orders!  If you would like a special color combination in a necklace, a special image scrimshawed onto a drinking
horn, or any other specific variation of any of the products we carry, simply let us know through email or over the phone.  Once a custom order is placed, it is final and cannot be canceled.  These items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.  However, if we have
made an error in the order, we will replace the item at no extra charge to you.

Changing an Order - If you wish to change your order after you have completed the
checkout process you must email the changes to holly@blueslatejewelry.com with
CANCEL ORDER in the subject line.  Please include your phone number and all contact information in the email.  Orders that have already been shipped cannot be recalled or changed.

Delivery and Shipping Rates - We ship all in-stock orders within three business days
of receiving the order.  If the item is out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible.  Once the item is shipped, it becomes the responsibility of the shipping company.

Sales Tax - Blue Slate Design must charge 6% sales tax on all orders shipping within
the state of Iowa.

Return Policy - We want you to be completely happy with your orders.  All orders may
be returned to Blue Slate Design within 10 days of the shipping date for a full refund.  Any items received after this time will be charged a 50% restocking fee.  Items must be
returned in its original unused condition, including attached tags and a copy of the invoice
with the item circled that is being returned.  Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

Exchange Policy - All items my be exchanged within 14 days of purchase.  Please
notify us immediately by phone or email with EXCHANGE ORDER in subject line, and
state which item you are wishing to exchange for.  Additional shipping and handling fees
are the responsibility of the customer.  Please include a check or money order for the
shipping charge.

Alterations - If upon receiving a necklace order you feel that the fit is not exactly to your liking, please contact us by phone or email within 14 days of the shipping date for a consultation.  We are more than happy to lengthen or shorten the fit.  Some alterations
may require a 10% alteration fee, which will be determined upon consultation. 
Additional shipping and handling fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Repairs - We use utmost care in the crafting of our jewelry and do not anticipate any
need for repairs.  However, we are more then happy to repair your item free of charge
within 60 days of purchase.

Website Representations - Blue Slate Design works hard to ensure that the pictures on
our website accurately represent the products we sell.  However, differences in monitor displays may affect the color of the images.  In addition, all natural materials include
surface variations in color and texture.  Blue Slate Design expects all clients to keep
these limitations in mind when considering a purchase.

Privacy Policy - Blue Slate Design respects our clients privacy and does not sell or
share any personal information to anyone unless required by law.
